On the morning of the 11th of September, 2001, the world changed with the destruction of the World Trade Center in New York. President Bush described it as the beginning of a long struggle between good and evil. He was right. According to the Bible Code, it was the start of a ten-and-a-half-year countdown, the time and half time as prophesied in Daniel 12 of The Old Testament and also described in the last book of The New Testament, The Revelation to John. The Bible Code brings a final warning to mankind. We have caused the current sickness of the earth and it must repair itself to accommodate the coming Golden Age. Two thirds of us professing to believe in God have not yet developed the godly character necessary to survive the coming cleansing process that is described herein and by most religions of the world. The coming earth changes can be either gradual or abrupt and catastrophic in nature. If we don't change the way we deal with each other, it will probably be the latter. The Bible Code tells us exactly what we must do to survive. - from the Foreword

Customer Reviews
The "code" in this book goes totally against biblical scripture!
I read this book having read "the bible code" as I wanted another opinion on the code and its validity/authenticity. Unfortunately "opinion" is all I got and certainly no actual scientific facts. For starters, the author has used a computer program to decode the bible himself (despite the fact that he doesn't even speak hebrew!!). To me, this is highly unscientific as how do we know he has used the program correctly?- there is no peer review and there is no other input from any other qualified person to confirm that his method is in fact reliable and valid. Secondly, he has not included in the book any of his methods/ calculations/ raw data, to back up his conclusions, it is literally a case of "I decoded the bible and this is what it said..."etc..
As a Christian myself, I was both horrified and astounded at his conclusions. I find it highly suspicious that what he "discovered" in the code was at odds with the actual text! For example, he claims that the code tells us that the Koran, the Bible, Krishna and the Buddha were ALL correct in their individual assertions. Now I am all for unity and finding a common ground but this statement is totally incorrect- the Koran, the bible, Krishna and buddhist points of view may have similarities but at the heart they all claim totally different things- the Bible states that Jesus said- "I am THE way, the truth and the life, NOONE comes to the Father except through me"- that's totally different to what's written in the Koran, and surely Buddhist philosophy does not even recognise an omnipotent God at all, its all about acheiving one's own personal enlightenment through meditation and reincarnation. Is the author expecting us to believe that God dictated the bible to Moses in clear terms- eg. "I am a jealous God, you shall have no other Gods before me" and then decided to refute it all and say the complete opposite via a hidden code?? If you believe that the bible code is from God, (as the author states)then you have to accept that the Bible itself is also from God since this is where the code exists. Why would a supernatural, intelligent and omnipotent God say one thing specifically and clearly and then hide a code in the text that states the exact opposite? I'm sorry but this makes no sense...
It then gets even more preposterous when the author states that a Lebanese poet that he likes- Kahlil Gibran, is also a messenger of God on the same level as Jesus. I know of and like Kahlil Gibran's work but I would certainly not liken him to Jesus and I doubt the man himself would either! (It seems remarkably handy that all the author's favourite writers somehow end up in "the code"!).
The book then goes on to tell us that we are now in the Tribulation period and that a blue supernova star will soon be emitting a blue light and irridating the 144,000 of God's people mentioned in Revelation and that these are the people who will be protected and saved by God during this period. The results of this blue light will supernaturally affect these people's endocrine glands and they will then live for 300 years. We will be able to tell whom these saved people are by the blue light in their auras apparently. What on earth is he talking about? there is no mention (to the best of my knowledge) of this happenng in the text of the bible and my only guess is that perhaps the author was also reading a science fiction work whilst writing this book as this all sounds very new-age and un-biblical to me. Oh, he also states that after 2010 there will be no live babies born...I think its rather foolish to make such definate statements as if and when this doesn't happen, his entire credibility will be on the line.
As you can probably guess, I was not impressed by this book and as I was reading it I did not feel at peace with what I know to be true from the Bible or that it was from God, as guided by the actual text of the Bible. The author is blasphemous in his statements and I found alot of his conclusions to be offensive, as a Christian myself. However, most importantly, I found this book to be totally unsubstantiated by empirical evidence and as mentioned, the author included nothing of his method, no details of the computer program he used, no raw data and no hebrew alphabet key. All in all, utter rubbish.
