Clover by Clamp - not just a comic book.5
I don't understand why manga books are listed as children's books - they're anything but. Clover is a manga that can be enjoyed by anyone, whatever their age. The story revolves around Suu - a "four leaf clover" - a being with very strong magical powers. She is a mysterious, lonely girl, who loves to sing, and has two mechanical wings which she can make appear at will. In the first book, she is put in the care of Kazuhiko, a man with a painful past. He must deliver her safely to "Fairy Park". "Clover", like all Clamp books, has stunning artwork. It's presented in a high quality fashion, and its something that you have to read more than once. It requires thought and imagination - it will certianly make you think. A must-buy for Clamp fans.

Unique and beautifully presented5
I ordered all 4 books and was quite surprised when they arrived. They are quite slim novels with beautiful presentation covers and the first page of each book coloured with sturdier pages. I was a bit dubious about buying this series from what id heard. All ill say is it is a very unique style. The story is there but in a more subtle way than most. As one of the other reviewers said there is a song repeated throughout. It can get a little annoying at times, but it is a subtle way to remind you of the characters at hand and their individual stories. I think this book couldve been in much more depth but i still find that the 4 volumes in themselves are complete with qualtity artistry by clamp again. i would recommend at least buying one for the style (to see if it suits you) and also to see the beauty of the books themselves.

wheeee............5
i don't know if you get it from ordering from amazon, but my copy (bought from a shop, nonetheless) has a brilliant silver-embossed tracing paper slipcase translating the abstract poetry on the cover itself in japanese.

The manga itself is simply beautiful, in a tone reminiscent of the quiet introspection of serial experiments: lain. It's very different to other CLAMP works as far as i can tell (definitely dissimilar to Cardcaptor Sakura). Not that Cardcaptor Sakura isn't good - i bought volumes 1-4 and wasn't disappointed - it just has a very different style...

Anyway, it's good. Darn good. I want to buy the next volume, but i'm holding out for finding a copy with the slipcase. Ah........
