Customer Reviews

A must for collectors5
Well I bought this book because I visit Sem's Encycmet site and am very glad I did. If you are a collector of Metallica stuff, this is the book to have. A complete in depth discography including all releases from all over the world. An awesome time line about the boyz is available and the scans of bootleg artwork is great!!!! Can't really say enough about it except GET IT!!!

A collector's boon4
This book catalogues a fair chunk of Metallica collectables from around the globe from t-shirts to box sets, and tells you where they were released, when, how many were made and how hard it is to get hold of 'em. Although it misses a few choice items, it also had quite a few that I, a long-time Metallica-collecting nut, didn't even know existed. I use it when I'm buying auctions of Metallica rarities, it lists all the correct catalogue numbers for each item, the relevant record company: basically all the info you need when tracking down that elusive collectable!! A pretty handy reference for all collectors and just beginning fans, although the photographs are sometimes disappointing and the spelling is atrocious in places...(was it EVER proof-read?) never mind, it's a darn good book anyway.
