Life changing book!
Steven Bowen misses the point completely.
This book is not a piece of research, and so all the information contained in the book can be found in other books. The book is just a summary, in lay man's terms, of the arguments that make the theory look silly.
I have a degree from Oxford University in physics, and since reading this book I had discussions with my friends, many of whom also have scientific degrees (including disciplines such as genetics) as well as discussions with evolutionists asking them to explain many of Harun Yahya's points.
Steve Bowen says that Harun Yahya's arguments can be shot down without breaking sweat. This is simply not true. None of my semi-intellectual colleagues and friends have been able to dismiss many of Harun's points.
This book is absolutely great and has literally changed my view of life - I say this without exagerating one bit. Yes, I have read many more books regarding evolution that go into more detail, but this is the one that explained things relatively simply and got me interested.
For example, it was only until reading this book did I realise that fossillary evidence, if looked at independently, actually refutes evolution because:
- there are no 'missing links' between any two creatures despite the theory predicting that the earth should be scattered with examples
- all famous 'missing link' fossils so far discovered have later been uncovered as frauds
- according to the fossil records life started suddenly and it was complex from the beginning which is apposed to the evolutionists view
- fossils show that early life was just as complex as life today (evolutionists say that life became increasingly complex with time and early life should be simple)
And this is just one small aspect of the book.
Summary: read this book!
Breath-taking and an amazing read!
This book can seriously change your life. It is not boring either like some can be. It deals with all of the issues surrounding the theory well, but the language is kept simple enough for the lay man. Harun Yahya has done a great job in researching and providing the evidences that completely break down the theory of evolution, making it crystal clear that the theory has no real basis behind it.
I even went to online forums and used many of the points raised in the book, with the evidences provided, and presented them to the 'believers of evolution'. Many of whom would begin by mentioning their credentials (being in science related fields, seemed like they were trying to intimidate me). Yet when i presented these arguments and evidences, either i got told that i didn't know anything, not to listen to creationists or was simply ignored. But in all cases, none of them could refute the arguments/evidences and many a times just ignored them. When i pushed for answers, telling them to deal with the issues rather than where it came from...all i got in return was silence.
I gave these people an oppurtunity to give a refutation. But having seen no real responses (even from those claiming to be scientists), it seems clear that evolution is nothing more than a big lie. Why people support it? I can't comprehend. Science just does not support it, rather it refutes it. No wonder many leading scientists have begun to see it as a philosophy and not as a science. Evolution is a baseless philosophy, science it can not be.
All questions answered in one book...
There is only one thing I can say after reading the book, Thank you! The subject of evolution has always bothered me as I was having difficulty in reconciling it with my faith. While reading the book, all my questions were answered one by one as if the author was reading my mind. Although I am a student of law, the book was perfectly understandable to me thanks to its lucid style. Now, I can even get into debates about evolution and easily refute whatever evolutionists have to say.
