Product Description

"Essential Lists for Intercollegiate MRCS" provides comprehensive lists in subjects that appear frequently in the MRCS Written, Viva and Clinical examinations. The book covers the whole spectrum of surgery from basic sciences through to the clinical aspects. It provides an ideal last minute refreshment of the important and common topics in the days leading up to each examination. The list approach is a well established study method for the medical membership. This is the first surgical text to cover the more didactic topics on the MRCS syllabus in this format. The lists are presented systematically throughout the book.

Customer Reviews

An MRCS Revision Gem?4
A unique MRCS revision aid, there is no other book which lists topics
and their key components in such an organised fashion. Conveniently
divided into six main systems based chapters, which also includes some
critical care instruction. This book will be of most benefit to those
about to take the viva element of the MRCS, allowing large volumes of
factual information to be regurgitated in the form of lists. The General
Surgery and Urology chapter being particularly good. However, not a
comprehensive text and would be best used in conjunction with a formal
textbook on the relevant chapter. Despite this it would still be a
useful aide-memoire on the shelf of any candidate.
