They also serve as an introduction to EMQs for students early in their clinical course and provide suitable revision material for postgraduates entering this form of examination in every discipline. Essential EMQs for exams!
I used books 1 and 2 of the previous edition this year for finals and found them invaluable and FUN! if you have EMQs in your exam its important to practice the technique. Admittedly, the questions are a lot easier than those from my exam at GKT, but the answers are so well explained that you learn a lot from just going through the books. If you don't have EMQs in your exam however don't bother- it's best to practice questions in the same format as your exam.
great book!
this book and its companion provide a superb introduction to emq-style style questions. the explanations are detailed enough to enable the reader to understand fully why the answer has been arrived at.
definitely helped me to pass my finals!
