Captures the attention of even young babies
Although this book says it is for 2 year olds, and is based on shapes and counting, my 6 month old son was enraptured by it. He loved this book so much, "Bear in a square" were the first words he recognized! He's now 1.5 years, and it is still an all-time favorite. This is a colofrul and sturdy book which is forever stimulating him in new ways as he grows.

My kids loved this book, from when they were two until they were six (when we lost it). They liked the rhymes, the beautiful pictures, finding the places the bear visited on the map, choosing which bear they wanted to be, guessing the day of the week, the little funny bits... I could go on, but sadly this book is only a memory for us now.
