A one handed read?
Well i thought I'd give this book a read after seeing it advertised a lot. I am writing my own gay novel, not as erotic as this but I learned a lot about writing erotic prose. The book doesn't have much of a plot narrative, but then I guess that isn't the main factor when you are reading erotica. I think I only found one straight person in the whole book and that was one of the character's mothers... Yes, I'd say buy this book. It's descriptive sexual content makes up for the 'not as good' narrative. Despite this, I couldn't put the book down. All the characters are introduced well enough. It's just the story line. Well its a bit fragmented. Each of the band members go through something terrible in their lives and then the chapter finishes.. Then a few pages later they are OK because time has passed. Overall this book is worth a read if only for the sexual sections (which there are plenty!) You wont be dissapointed at them.
One that your boyfriend WONT be happy with you reading!
Yet another great book by Sam Stevens. With a story line that will lead the characters and yourself into lots of sticky situations. Each chapter makes your hormones totally uncontrollable, which is why this is a book that your boyfriend won't be happy with you reading. It all starts off with an up and coming gay boy banned trying to make it big. With lots of problems and achievements along the way. There are plenty of situations that you'll wish you were in (especially when Mark the courier delivers a package in his leathers) and a couple that will bring you down to a reality check. Overall this is probably one of the best gay novels I've read all year...
Do yourself a favour - buy something else!
If you are looking for the same scene regurgitated time and time again with little but the participants names and the scenery changed then buy this book.
The story line is shallow to say the least (I've read more in-depth Janet and John stories in school) and by the third or fourth chapter, I became bored of hearing the same thing over and over again (sadly there was no let up in this until the last chapter
