Law in Focus for OCR Simon Jackson5
This is a detailed and thoughtful book, with plenty of activities. It covers the key concepts of the english legal system, but unlike most other law books it uses up to date examples and news stories to do this. It puts law in a real context, unlike other law books which can be very dry and remote. This is an excellent introductory book, written in a student-friendly style.

Easy to understand, well written and funny pictures5
I used this book for my AS law at college and it was great. Quite concise, easy to understand for beginners and has these stupid humorous cartoons and captions under pictures - not really relevant but hey!
