About the Author
Suzanne Trocme has written on the subjects of interior design, architecture, art and fashion for The New York Times Magazine, Architectural Digest, Vogue, House & Gardne, Wallpaper magazine, AD France and AD Germany. She is European Editor of the US magazine Interior Design and presenter of the international television show on interior news, 21st Century Home(Granada). Before taking up writing full time she worked briefly for Paul Smith as Retail Coordinator and Ralph Lauren as Creative Coordinator during their periods of expansion in Europe. She is married to the sculptor and designer, Paul Verburg.

Unlike most books published on the subject of architecture, interiors, decoration or design, ST's books are extremely well written and full of useful and useable practical information and advice.

In addition, the illustrations and pictures perfectly compliment the always excellent text and are 'real' enough to make the reader feel they could create similar settings and interiors.

ST is an 'edgy' realistic and uncompromising writer who thoroughly understands her subject - unlike many other authors working in this genre.
