Product Description

This textbook covers the Tort Law option of the A-level syllabus, and provides at the same time an ideal introduction for anybody coming to the subject for the first time. The book covers all A-level syllabuses/specification requirements, and is written by the examiner in Tort Law for one of the major examination boards. It contains extensive case illustration, and a range of examination related questions and activities. There is a special focus on key skills, and on the new synoptic assessment syllabus requirements. This fully updated second edition builds upon the success of the first edition, containing a new section on human rights and new case information in relation to trespass to the person, negligence, nuisance, animals, vicarious liability, defamation, breach of statutory duty and defences.

Customer Reviews

The best book on tort for a level ever!5
I wouldn't recommend any other tort text for A level than Sue's book. It has depth yet is very accessible to students.
It makes use of some great diagrams to summarise chapters and is full of exam guidance.
I recommend this to all my tort students and wouldn't be without it myself.
