Essential reading
This book is a really useful core text for anyone on a primary teaching degree course. It is split into four sections, covering: planning and assessment; management, organisation and delivery; children and individual needs; becoming a professional. Each chapter is referenced to Professional Standards for QTS, making it easy to select the chapters which you may need to concentrate on.
excellent for trainee teachers
This book is excellent for students studying teaching studies. As a recommended key text from my university i find this book by far the easiest to read and understand. With chapters on key issues such as assessment this is a brilliant book for any trainee teacher.
