Product Description

The Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists' Part 2A Examination has undergone significant changes and a new format was initiated in Spring 2004. The multiple choice question examination has now been divided into six system modules and contains questions on anatomy, physics and techniques. The exam format underwent further revision in Winter 2005, implementing an increased emphasis on the cardiothoracic and vascular and paediatrics modules. This MCQ book was written to address all these changes. This book contains 500 multiple choice questions with short answers; all answers are fully referenced allowing for additional reading. Questions are drawn from the most commonly used textbooks, speciality textbooks and current radiology journals, reflecting the current 'hot topics' in radiology. Six mock papers are included which mirror the new and revised exam format. "Radiology MCQs for the New FRCR, Part 2A" is the ideal revision tool for radiology registrars preparing for the newly revised exam.

Excellent MCQ book5
I bought a copy of this book at UKRC this year and have found it to be really useful. There are loads of multiple choice questions subdivided into modules as in the new FRCR 2A exam. There is a really good mix of mcqs with lots of questions drawn from recent journal papers. And there are 6 exam practice papers too! This is a perfect book for revising for the exam.

Best FRCR MCQ book!!5
This book is brilliant! I used it for the recent exam sitting and i passed all the modules that i took. It contains a really good mix of questions - some very similar to those which actually came up in the exams. The best thing about it is that it has lots of questions from recent radiology journals like Clinical Radiology, BJR and Radiographics.

A Must Have Book to ensure passing5
Having used numerous MCQ books in the past, I have to say without doubt this is one of the best. The FRCR 2A is tricky, but "Radiology MCQs" covers most of the common questions in the exam, providing a perfect revision aid when studying in a group. The book was thoroughly useful, the questions thought provoking and the answers were clear and concise.

The questions are remarkably similiar to those in the exam and I ended up passing first time! Thanks to the author, Dr Hussain.

Buy it - money and time well spent. Far superior to other books on the market.
