A MUST for any Michael Caine fans!
I could not put this authorised biography down (even though I knew what happens at the end!) At last an intelligent, articulate account of Caine's life to date. Very funny and, at times, extremely moving. Well worth the money!
wow, a cockney with an interesting life.
This book was the most interesting biography i have ever read. Not only did it contain my kind of step granddad's name, Ian Christi, in a review he had written, twice, it really openned my eyes to Michael Caine. I used to think that Michael Caine did so many films because he was money mad or because he was a fool, but now i realise it was because he was a struggling actor, and struggeling actor don't turn down roles. It says so much about the movie business. Everyone imagines that movie stars are offered it on a plate, but this obviously isn't the case with Michael Caine.
This book was fantastic, and after reading it i have been out a bought five of his movies, and in everyone i have been able to see the genious that is Michael Caine.
