Customer Reviews
Spiritually uplifting: God really is with each of us.
The book is structured with an individual message on each page, a message from Jesus directly to the reader, albeit via the author. A verse from the bible is printed at the bottom of each page, relating to the message. There is a handy theme index a the end of the book, and a few blank pages for the readers own notes.
A tribute inside the book says "I have never experienced such a closeness to Jesus". It is truly hard to read this book without feeling such closeness. Some messages will literally bring tears to your eyes. Tears of sorrow, when recognising neglect and failure, followed by tears of joy when realising how much we are unconditionally loved.
The book is spiritually uplifting, inspirational, and a true gift of love to anyone who wants to be loved.
A simply wonderful book
I received this book on my confirmation day (4th May 2000) and I can say with certainty that this is one of my favorite books relating to my faith. Every time I have ever felt in need, I have turned to this book and God has spoken to me through it. 100% of the time. Without doubt. Even when I felt as though I didn't deserve to receive divine guidance, He has guided me to the relevant page in the book, every time.
No Christian bookshelf would be complete without this book.
a bedside book
We all like to keep a book by the bed for dipping into. This is just that kind of book. Over the years it has encouraged, inspired and challenged me. The author relates God talking directly to him in such a unique and wonderful way. And, as you read, you too hear God speak to you.
This is something that only a Christian can know, for it grows out of a a living relationship with the living Christ, risen, ascended, glorified, but as close as the beat of the heart.
Open this book and read it. You will not want to then be without it.
