If you believe healthy eating means putting on a hair shirt and sprouting your own mung beans, then this Little Book will prove you wrong. In the Superfood Pocketbook, leading food and health expert Michael van Straten shows that the 'food police' who try to take all the pleasure out of eating are so wrong. Enjoyment is the key to healthy eating.
The book provides a list of 100 top foods for guilt-free healthy eating and describes how and why you should enjoy them. Many are the obvious fruits and vegetables, but you'll be suprised by some of the others you can enjoy with relish. Avocados, for example, aren't fattening - they're essential skin food. Did you know that beer is one of the healthiest tonics for women? Or that the best quality chocolate simply oozes vital nutrients? In the Superfood Pocketbook you'll learn how even the humble peanut can help control cholesterol levels and fight diabetes.
Being passionate about what you eat is the first step towards healthy living. So enjoy your food - and enjoy your life to the full. The Superfood Pocketbook will show you how.
