Who would think such a simple book could be so entertaining?5
The book isn't big. The book has no story. The book has no cartoons or characters.
All you find inside this book are circles, squares and triangles in different sizes and colours. And it seems it is all that's required to entertain a baby.
My baby is now almost 6 months and he seems to like it as much as when we bought it (almost 2 months ago). He smiles everytime I take the book from the shelf.
It would be nice if the book was made of fabric rather than board, because my son would then be able to hold it himself. Having said that a rag book would lack the glossiness that also helps to captivate their interest.
Great book!

Excellent5
Don't underestimate this book. Its great. From a very young age our daughter was totally mesmirised by it and you can almost see her brain firing when she has it in her hands. It was given to us by a friend whose own daughter loved it and at 5 months it is still the best for getting and holding our daughters attention.

A great book!5
Our son has had this book since he was about 3 weeks old and he loves it. He especially loves the pages with additional colours (about 4 pages of the book have an extra colour). He shows enjoyment by having a really good kick and arm wave. I would recommend this book to anyone and have bought it for friends with babies.
