Missing Factor5
This is the first book I would recommend to anyone wishing to know more about Haemophilia. It explains the causes behind the condition and all the potential symptoms in terms accessible to any reader, regardless of their familiarity with the subject matter. The author opens her account with a description of her reaction to her baby son’s diagnosis, and the fears she felt when she imagined the future. She then documents the process by which she came to terms with her son’s condition, and dispenses practical advice for coping with severe Haemophilia. The tone of the book varies between that of a sympathetic Doctor and a reassuring friend, and contains advice that merits re reading again and again. Very highly recommended.

Living with haemophilia5
This book gives plenty of advice and information to parents of children with haemophilia. Written by a mother who brought up a son severely affected with the condition, this is a positive book which helps understand that it is possible to cope with haemophilia and to have a normal, happy life. Marie Berger describes the ups and downs of living with the illness and explains why it is important to let go and allow your child to grow up and take responsibility for their illness.

What is more emotional than a mother writing about her son illness: haemophilia? Marie offers us her daily life fighting for her son Nathan. This book is a must have for parents coping with children suffering from haemophilia.
