"A good book, with some interesting insights... not so much an energy challenge as an energy triumph!"Renew (Open University)"This book I would heartily recommend to anyone who wants to see more clearly how we get from 'here' to 'there'. This is a book of vision as well of science."Network Review Magazine"A detailed, realistic scenario for a UK zero-carbon future"Resurgence

Customer Reviews

A really clear explanation of energy issues5
Just as we are at last getting wise to global warming, this book gives a very clear, easy to read guide to different energy options for different needs.

Everything from biofuels to hydrogen and nuclear is covered, in straightforward language and with really useful little notes in the margins to explain things. Suitable for anyone who wants to be better informed by the unsensationalised, compelling facts - including older school kids, students and you or me.

It's even an attractive size and format, with colour photos and a hard cover!
