Editorial Reviews

Review
And now, in the wake of Perry's breakthrough, an excellent new book from Black Dog Publishing called Breaking the Mould sheds some welcome light on the small army of ceramicists who are following in his slipstream, making art that is every bit as meaningful and every bit as "fine" as that produced by the so-called fine artists. --The Scotsman

Customer Reviews

Good overview, 4
Good introduction to contemporary ceramic scene, if a little limited in its content.
Beautifully illustrated and written.

Nice introduction to ceramic artists.....3
This is basically a coffee table book as an introduction to ceramic artists. I found the information on each artist limiting as i was writing a dissertation, but if i was to delve into it for a purely research into different types of ceramics or seeking eye candy inspiration then this would be the book i would choose.

All ceramic students should buy this book5
This book is the ultimate ceramic coffee table book. It's something for ceramic students to drool over. The theme is where ceramic art meets fine art by breaking down boundaries of medium and showing how many ceramic artists are shoulder to shoulder with fine artists.
