Customer Reviews

Straightforward and simple - but not what I expected3
This is a helpful and straightforward guide to the basics of equality and diversity, but at 81 pages is a little brief, especially for the money. In terms of a "Training Manual" there are some brief discussion questions at the end of each section. and a vague training plan at the end for a 2 day course for managers.

If you are new to Diversity training then it may give you some idea of where to start.

Making a difference5
As a senior manager working in housing I found this a very clear explanation of how to deliver equality and diversity in an organisation to make a difference. The material is relevant topical and thought provoking. Written in a straight forward easy to understand language and style.

An Essential Read5
With over thirty years experience in the field of equality and diversity including nineteen years in training and strategic development, I recommend this manual as an essential read for managers and trainers in statutory and voluntary social care organisations, interested in creating an organisational culture of open and frank discussion on equality and diversity issues (elephants), ignored by many due to the fear of being labelled as racist, sexist.......etc. The author's open, simple and straightforward style of presentation should be particularly attractive to those who are new to this area.
