Gets down to the 'nitty gritty' of Bluetooth4
I'd looked at several Bluetooth books but this is the first I've found that gets down to basics techically (I'm looking at building a hardware application). I now feel more confident looking at device datasheets and to be able to make sensible choices.
It's not just 'here's what Bluetooth does and how to use it (with existing kit)'.It includes 'pseudo' code examples, sections on embedding & audio, etc. I also found the 'transaction' diagrams useful but I would have liked to see more in terms of sub-system block diagrams.
Chapters (possibly now updated);
1.Introducing Bluetooth Application
2.Exploring the Foundations of Bluetooth
3.Power Management
4.Security Management
5.Service Discovery
6.Linux Bluetooth Development
7.Embeddeing Bluetooth Applications
8.Using the Palm OS for Bluetooth Applications
9.Designing an Audio Application
10.Personal Information Base Case Study
Appendix - Fast Track Guide & Glossary

I found this book elsewhere, sorry Amazon, as I find that I need to have a good look through before choosing technical books. The 'Look inside' option featured with some books is a good step to helping get over this drawback to online purchasing.
