French Army 1918
This book sticks clearly to its main objective French Army uniforms and dress from 1915 to 1918. There is informative text, but mainly lots of colour illustrations of the French Army. sections on NCOs and Oficers, Chasseurs , Alpine troops, Cavalry, Artillery, Tank troops, Support Services,and Colonial troops make this a colourfull book for WW1. Good 1918 Regimental Organisational chart at the back pity there was't one for 1916 and 1917 showing how things developed as the war went on. Don't let this put you off get some 28mm troops and get painting.
