Excellent Book for Word 2000 Proficient Users
As a Trainer of Word 2000 I have found this book with interactive CD-Rom, of invaluable use. It is set out in an easy to follow step-by-step mode, which is invaluable to anyone who is already proficient or has familiarity with Word, 2000 or otherwise, wishing to acquire more knowledge or studying (as I am) to gain MOUS Certification.

I will certainly buy further books in the series, which by the way are Microsoft approved.

Highly recommended.

I passed using this book - but it is not without bugs
I was very impressed with the first half of the book, but the second half was not proof read quite as well as it should have been. A file is refered to by the wrong name as are some fields in a table, and a couple of things did not work quite as the book said it would. Having said that, I passed first time and the exam did not seem to bad, so I guess the book must have prepared me quite well. I will try another book in the series so I must be reasonably happy with it.

I also highly recommend the Using Microsoft Office 2000 book which really is invaluable for really learning the product. It is not enough on its own the pass the MOUS because it does not tell you what is required in the exams, but it is full of extremly useful hints and tips.

An excellent book and definitely great "value for money".

It is not a book for beginners or intermediate users of Word 2000, instead it is a concise and to the point preparation guide for the Word 2000 expert Mous exam. It only covers the objectives required for the exam in question, unlike the Microsoft Press books this one is not page after page of MS propaganda telling you how wonderful their product is!

As a trainer I would strongly recommend this book (and the ENI series) to anyone who is serious about passing the Mous exam, without having to part with a lot of money.
