Average customer review:Product Description
This book presents the study of magic as a special technology, rather than as an arcane mystery. It unfolds the intricacies of the magic. According to the author, it should have real physical results. The basic tool to learning the art is to gain control of the mind. It offers a broad overview of the theory and practice of various kinds of ritual and ceremonial magic, outlines the basic principles that constitute a magical act, and describes the qualities and abilities that distinguish an individual as a true magician.

Customer Reviews
A general but excellent introduction to true magic.
Out of the many books available, this one provides a very good introduction to several of the possible arts many of us can acquire with practice. It covers arts such as Astral projection, Herbal Magic, Elemental magic, etc.Very insperational!
Excellent over view of the field of practical magic
This book is an excellent guide for those who might wish to become practical magicians, The varieties of magical experience are given a good introduction, and there are some guidelines to becoming involved in the field. The thrust is always toward actuall attainment of a material goal, rather than simply changing the way you precive something. It is not for those who only wish to get good feelings or neat emotional experiences.
simply brilliant
I've read a few books about magic but this is certainly the clearest and most straight forward. It has sufficient depth to get you started and explains the basic types of magic and the requirements of a would-be magician. His other books may provide more depth? A joy to read !
