Customer Reviews
Wannabe
This was bought in behalf of a friend.
They enjoyed reading the book and the author showed and extensive knowledge of Jane Austen.
However the author seems to aspire to be a modern Jane Austen themselves and writes in a sometimes overly wordy manner.
This is a book for those who wish to learn more about Jane Austen but don't mind trawling through a lot of unnecessary prose.
Hence it scores four stars instead of five.
