Customer Reviews

A good album - with great bonus tracks too4
This is probably my second favourite Wishbone Ash album (after Argus). Like the classic 1972 release, it was produced by Derek Lawrence and it seriously rocks. There isn't really a bad track, though my favourites are the ones that were on side 2 of the vinyl LP - Anger In Harmony, the beautiful Like A Child, and the epic Way Of The World. But what makes this CD so special is the bonus tracks - two previously unreleased songs which really should have been on an album (Time & Space especially), plus some very good live recordings. Highly recommended.

Another Great5
Well, I also have to agree with the reviewer who DOES like this album. I just love this band, especially the mark 2 line up with Laurie Wisefield. There 's some great songs on this and the musicianship is first rate. I've enjoyed the remastering versions of this and Just Testing. I only wish that the rest of the albums from that period of the band had the same treatment. It would also be fantastic to see Live Dates 2 actually released on C.D for the first time as well. Come on Martyn, does us proud!

SHOCKINGLY BAD REMASTERING2
I have this LP on vinyl and it's wonderful, but Martin Turner must have been drunk when he remastered this... the balance and levels are all over the place. The singing on Stand and Deliver and Way of the World are barely audible and half of the solos are at dropped level. What a waste...
