Customer Reviews
Explosive video from the eventual standard bearers of punk
This video, although containing only eight songs, is a superb demonstration as to why The Clash were often described as "the only band that matters". It features their more popular, successful songs, such as 'London Calling', 'Rock the Casbah' and 'Should I Stay or Should I Go'. As these videos were released before the MTV revolution, the films are not of great quality and obviously are cheap, but don't let that put you off: we clearly see that the band had fun making these videos (see 'Bankrobber' and 'Radio Clash'). We also get two rousing live versions of 'Train in Vain' and 'Should I Stay or Should I Go'. From this video, we see why the Clash have become one of the most influential bands to grace Britain and the U.S over the past 20-25 years. Essential viewing for all fans of the Clash, and anyone else for that matter.
