When Pat and Margaret are reunited after 27 years, it’s a culture shock to the both of them; Pat is embarrassed by how her sister has let herself go, while Margaret isn’t ready for the limelight she’s thrust into, after being exposed in the media as the superstar’s sibling.

PUT IT ON DVD !!!5
" They" bring so-o-o-o much rubbish out on dvd
why not a real gem like this movie. It would fly
off the shelves.
Walters plays an American soap actress who brings
new meaning to the word bi*ch.Butter would not melt
in her mouth. She comes back to England to promote
a book. She appears on a tv program not knowing that
she is about to meet the sister she left behind and
hasn't seen for 27 yrs.
Woods plays the roadside diner waitress from the
north of England who at the urging of her co-workers
goes to see a live tv program not knowing that she
is about to meet her long lost sister of 27 yrs.
What transpires for the rest of the movie is simply
hilarious. These are two women who are seemingly so
very far apart on every aspect of life that it would
be hard to imagine them ever reconciling their
differing lifestyles.
The performances by both these actresses is awsome.
I got tired of waiting for them to bring this movie
out on dvd,so i burned my vhs copy onto a blank
dvd so that at least it wouldn't deteriorate any
further.
However,I would jump at the chance to get this movie
on a real dvd.

Wood at her best!5
