Customer Reviews

At last a documentary/film worthy of Pasolini himself.5
A thoughtful and insightful account of Pasolini's life and work, both as a writer and a film director. Importantly this documentary does not seek to make a hero of Pier Paolo. Interview footage is mixed with excerpts from Pasolini's films and writing, providing a balanced account of Italy's greatest post-war director, including warts and all. Bregstein also provides inside speculation as to why Pasolini was murdered, reassesing the original police report. Essential for anyone who is even remotely interested in the work of this highly intelligent, higly creative man.

Informative and thought- provoking4
This is a very good documentary regarding the last days of the director.Friends and collaborators share their views and opinions on the great man, mainly regarding his death.
Its not a biography altough a very informative booklet is included. The squeamish should approach with caution as it contains photos of his dead and much disfigured body.
Recommend it.
