Succeed and you rise through the ranks of the organization, get more respect and tackle tougher missions. Through it all, you play an evil criminal who kills random folks for dishonourable people. The diamond of games.
Driving any car, with any gun, doing anything, is a lot of people's dreams. This game does just that. Drive through a selection of cities, be a law abiding citizen, or go on a rampage through the streets of downtown USA. With a range of missions to choose from, you won't get tired of it easily, picking off unwanted people, stealing cars, or maybe just driving round town. But of course, it wouldn't be fun with no one to catch you, so here there's american style police, who will barricade you, chase afer you and eventually(if your really lucky) get you out of your car and take you to jail. With all its splendour, Grand Theft Auto surpasses all other driving games!

GTA London- great!
My first GTA game for the PS1, and what a cracking investment! Cheap as a McDonalds burger and worth every penny. Zipping around London with superb sound effects and voice overs giving a true atmospheric environment provides us Brits with better VFM than the American software. Keep 'em coming butt!

A Right Laugh !!!!!
i thought that gta was a very fun game. the game play is top class and running from the cops is great. u get out the car and go on killing sprees just watch out 4 the cops. u can get in all types of cars buses, jeeps, fariries its sweet. the only let down are the graphics. it is not 3D at all but necer the less its a very fun game.
