Customer Reviews
Just Fantastic!
It's not often that a compilation evokes a million memories of time and place. The Trojan output during the late sixties/early seventies was nothing less than prolific. Hit after hit jump from the discs, about 30 or more. So many great songs and great performances and for me, so many memories of songs that stood by me in my early teens on radio (1) and in the clubs.
Every hit is here from Red, Red Wine to Love of the Common People, Young Gifted and Black, Black and White, The Liquidator, Skinhead Moonstomp. OH STOP IT! So many!!
What on earth happened to Trojan Records after this period? I'd love to know. They got it so right.
Nice packaging too.
Worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A GOOD PLACE TO START
If your new to the Trojan box sets then I think this is the place to start, this compilation has every song that you need from Guns Of Naverone to the final track Money In Your Pocket. Awsome compilation.
