Average customer review:Product Description
This is a pack of two Grand Theft Auto titles for your PC.
Grand Theft Auto places you in the role of a common street thug whose job is to carry out the will of ruthless crime bosses. Stealing cars and settling drug deals are just some of your dirty tasks as you run, gun, steal, and drive through three different crime-infested cities. Fail and you get cussed out by your superiors. Succeed and you rise through the ranks of the organization, get more respect, and tackle tougher missions.
In Grand Theft Auto: London Mission Pack, if you want to stay legal, you'll want to stay on the left side of the road. You'll also be entering and exiting vehicles on the right side of the car. All the speech has been replaced with the slang and accents you'd expect to find in London around 1969. The music has also been completely revamped, and it fits the scenario nicely. The graphics are mostly new as well, providing new textures for buildings and new cars, including an Austin Powers-esque ride, complete with accompanying secret-spy music.

Original Car-Jacking, Machine-Gunning, People Squashing Game
Many people have been blown away by GTA3 on the PS2 (including me). Now own the game that started off that phonomina, the original GTA. OK so maybe the graffics may not be brilliant and maybe it's not in full 3D, but it's still as open-ended and fun as the 2 sequels. It's time to run down the street, shooting cops with a machine gun and nick off with their car again, for the first time. This game was a ground breaking addition to gaming and with it's 2 chapters at each of the 3 different places it took a while to complete. This game is worthy of it's 5 star rating and with the (also excellent) add-on, GTA:London, at a fiver it's a steal.
Bit outdated, but still great
This is a good value buy, getting both the original game and the expansion pack for London.
The graphics don't appear to be the best, but this doesn't detract from the playability of the games - it just makes you realise how far they have come in such a short amount of time to make Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City.
I bought this double pack as my oldish (four years) computer wouldn't support the newer GTA games, but I still found myself losing hours and hours, and sitting up, bleary eyed in the early hours of the morning when I knew there was either work or sleep to be had. They are still addictive, as there is always just a little bit more to be done, the missions are not the same each time etc.
If you have never tried any of the GTA games I would definitely have a go on this - it is so cheap and is still one of the best. However, if you have already played GTA III or Vice City, then I probably wouldn't go back to this as it is all from a birds'eye point of view, which restricts the range of the game.
Then again, at five quid for both, why not?
gta1 london
its a good offer for a double pack and there quite good games but only if you like birds eye view his is for you.they are fun games but abit exagerated all the people on the street are crazzy and the coppers are compleatly hard so if you like hard games these are for you.
