Synopsis
This AVENGERS collection presents six more episodes from the classic 1960s television series that follows secret agents John Steed (the ever-suave Patrick Macnee) and Emma Peel (the ever-lovely Diana Rigg) on various crime-fighting adventures. The set contains the episodes Small Game for Big Hunters, A Touch of Brimstone, Honey for the Prince, and four more.

Steed & Mrs Peel... your needed
This is a collection of the last of the Black & White Avengers episodes, don't be put off by the black & white these are great shows without doubt the 1966 episodes are my favourites & have been so since I first saw them on Channel 4 over twenty years ago.

At this point the actors are the highlight of the show Patrick Mcnee and Diana Rigg are wonderful the show is chock full of sharp dialogue, wit & no small amount of humour as they battle diabolical masterminds.

There are seven episodes in total, our heroes end up in a chinese prison via a chess themed hotel, battle big game in the home counties, battle with the excellent Peter Wyngarde of the Hell fire club, we see Steed as a gentlemans gentleman, then they both go back to University, stop a group of secrataries led by a dummy from taking over top industry and finally thwart an assasination of a prince obsessed with cricket, who adds Mrs Peel to his harem. The usual stuff.

A Touch of Brimstone is the stand out episode, however the adventures are just a backdrop for the two lead actors, I just love spending time with Steed & Mrs Peel.
