STEED-ARRIFIC5
THIS IS THE SECOND OF FOUR SETS OF AVENGERS DVD'S WITH THE FAB LINDA THORSTON AS TARA KING HERE'S MY VIEW ON THE STORIES.
1.YOU'LL CATCH YOUR DEATH
NOSE DOCTORS ARE DYING OF FATAL SNEEZING FITS WHEN THEY OPEN BOOBYTRAPPED LETTERS. STEED AND TARA INVESTIGATE AND TARA ENDS UP INPRISONED IN A DEEP FREEZE. I LIKE THIS ONE ITS A GOOD EPISODE LOTS OF FIGHTS TOO.
2.ALL DONE WITH MIRRORS
THE BIG TARA FIGHT ONE AS TARA IS FORCED TO GO SOLO AGAINST A WHOLE LIGHTHOUSE OF KILLERS SHE DEFENATLY KICKS A LOT OF BUTT HERE ALMOST ON A PAR WITH EMMA. I LOVE THIS ONE ITS ONE OF MY FAVS.
3.LEGACY OF DEATH
STEED GETS AN ANTIQUE SWORD SENT TO HIM AND EVERY VILLAN IN THE COUNTRY SEEMS TO WANT IT. A FAB EPISODE WITH LOADS OF ACTION AND LOTS OF DEAD BADDIES. ANOTHER GOOD EPISODE.
4.THEY KEEP KILLING STEED
STEED IS TAKEN PRISONER AND A WHOLE LOT OF DOPPELGANGERS ARE LET LOOSE ON A PEACE CONFERENCE AND ITS UP TO TARA TO STOP ALL THE STEEDS BUT WILL SHE SHOOT THE RIGHT ONES. AN OK EPISODE NOT THE BEST.

5.WISH YOU WERE HERE
TARA BECOMES A PRISONER IN A HOTEL THAT YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE ANOTHER GREAT SOLO OUTING FOR TARA AS SHE FIGHTS A WHOLE HOTEL OF BADDIES. ANOTHER GREAT EPISODE.
6.KILLER
ANOTHER GIRL REPLACES TARA IN THIS EPISODE ABOUT A KILLER COMPUTER AND SHE IS VERY EMMAISH LOTS OF FIGHTS THIS LADY CAN TAKE CARE OF HERSELF STEED IS GOOD IN THIS ONE TOO. A FAB EPISODE.
7.THE ROTTERS
KILLERS THAT CAN DISOLVE ANY WOOD WITH A SPECIAL SPRAY ARE WREAKING HAVOK. CAN STEED AND TARA STOP THEM. A GREAT ACTION PACKED EPISODE
8. THE INTERROGATORS
A PHONEY TRAINING PROGRAMME IS MAKING SOLDIERS TELL GOVERNMENT SECRETS SOON ITS TARA'S TURN. AN OK EPISODE BUT ITS A BIT CONFUSING.
ALL IN ALL I SAY THIS IS THE BEST OF THE FOUR BUT YOU REALLY SHOULD BUY ALL FOUR.

May I disagree, this was The Avengers' peak5
Many site Emma Peel period of this seminal serieal as the high point, but I think this series with the wonderful and very beautiful Linda Thorson is the zenith. It is chic, very late 60s, colourful, quirky, at times down right odd and most importantly, imaginative. One of my fave episodes is included here, All done with mirrors. A wonderful strange story which showcases why Linda Thorson was fantastic as Tara King and why this series was so good. This is now out of print and one can expect Network to get it at some point in the future. When it re-appears, snap them up. A classic series which is still imaginative and engaging in an era of reality shows. 10/10!

Better quality than US A&E set5
On the A & E Avengers '68 set that contains "You'll Catch Your Death", you will find a terrible print for that particular episode. It is so bad that it is unwatchable; lines, splotches of dirt; I mean it is really bad. Here, in this set, the episode is beautiful. Get this DVD set for the quality of this episode.
