Too Much Information
Although there are some slower moments, this video will have you in stitches by the end. David's self-confessed unashamed nature is what gives it that extra magic required for a successful stand-up show. He trawls through the usual topics: sex; porn; football; parents (including some exellent observations about Judaism) etc, adding his own perfectly timed witticisms as he goes. The use of props is interesting but not intrusive and his interaction with the audience, especially during the question and answer section, produces some triumphant moments. This is a must have for any fan of Baddiel's 'laddish humour' but even if this is not to your taste, the video is worth having just for the section at the end where David examines 16th Century Bills of Mortality - an unlikely comedy subject, but his finely tuned delivery is a masterpiece. This is the section you will rewind and watch over and over again and the laughter still won't run out. Priceless.
