A lively and exotic, unique sound !
I bought this CD yesterday, and immediatly fell in love with the sounds and Venezuelan rhythms. The CD introduces traditional folkloric music and dance styles of Venezuela as well as combining modern contemporary styles of music and dance. Track 12 "Viva Venezuela" is a brilliant track. The track is about the liberator of Venezuela - Simon Bolivar. The CD features tracks from the main regions of Venezuela - the Llaneros region, from Caribbean Coast region, Southern Andean regions, the interior and the music of the cities. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes traditional music or modern contemporary music of Venezuela. It is extremly difficult these days to find Venezuelan national folkloric music, but with thanks to "Rough Guide Network", they have allowed the opportunity for people to listen to a passionate and exotic nations music. I love Venezuela and the folkloric music !
