Synopsis
A brash young American celebrity, Robin Grange (John Bon Jovi), goes to London to star in a major new play, and becomes the central character in a real-life mystery fuelled by intrigue and passion. The playwright of the production, Felix Webb (Lambert Wilson), is having an intense affair with his leading ingenue Hilary Rule (Thandie Newton). Eleanor (Anna Galiena), Felix's wife of fourteen years and mother of his three children, suspects her cheating husband and cannot suppress her jealous rage. Robin is a brash and seductive man, and offers Felix an intriguing answer to his extramarital dilemma: he will seduce Felix's classy and beautiful wife in order to keep her busy and out of her husband's business. Felix desperately agrees. However, things are not as simple as they seem, as the plot of the play begins to mirror the dilemmas of the real-life lovers. Felix feels himself more and more jealous of Robin's attempts to seduce his willing wife, desperately trying to stay ahead of the calculating leading man as he charms everyone in the company, including his nubile co-star, Hilary. Felix is caught in a web of deceit and jealousy, prompting desperation and revenge on the opening night of his new theatrical triumph.

jon Bon Jovi - this guy can act
I bought this after reading the reviews on Amazon. I've never seen Jon Bon Jovi in a film other than his rather small part in Blaze of Glory 2 and that wouldn't show him as an actor.
I sat down and put this film on and I found that I really enjoyed the film. It isn't the best film I have seen but it's a nice little film with a good story line that plays well from the start to finish.
I actually was able to watch this film and forget it was Jon bon Jovi rock star and actually saw the character he was playing. So that proves the guy can really act.
What a great film!! Go see!!
I'd never really heard of this film before i was searching through amazon looking at items related to the band Bon Jovi. When I saw it come up I thought I have to buy it and watch it, so i did. am quite septical about new films, especially films that you haven't heard much about when it came out but it was so good, I watched it twice in one night. It is the sort of film you can watch again and again and it never gets old or boring. Definately worth buying.
He CAN act!
After being disappointed with Jon Bon Jovi's 5 minute cameo in 'Moonlight And Valentino,' I couldn't wait to grab this movie.
JBJ's acting has definitely improved in this both sexy and sad movie. A tale of seduction and infidelity at it's most devious. Twists and turns and plenty of JBJ bedroom action! Sorry to seem a bit shallow there but who can resist seeing JBJ tenderly kissing and let's face it...ravaging a reluctant lady? What WAS she thinking? Get in there! (hehe)
A great movie. Great acting. Great storyline. Probably not everyone's cup of tea but well worth checking out if you like a little sex, naughtiness and mystery!
In a nutshell: The only thing I can't resist is temptation.
