Easy and Pleasurable Learning5
The French Premier is an intelligently designed DVD. I do like the fact that the learning that this DVD offers is interactive. You can sellect a section that you would like to start with, and really learn at your own pace. The graphics are particularly excellent, every section is well explained and pleasantly narrated with very clear pronounciation. You can see that this learning program was created with much thought. The French Premier is an excellent buy. I strongly recommend it!

A French Beginner (ooh la la!)4
I got this for Christmas to help me with a trip I am planning to go on to France. I didn't speak any French before using this DVD, and feel it was ideal for my needs. The DVD assumes you don't know anything about the language and as such you probably won't benefit from some of the content if you already regularly speak French on holiday for example. I found the audio to be very slow and clear and easy for me to follow and I think it's also well paced for children just starting out with the language at school. The presentation of the DVD layout is easy to follow and use. Much of the DVD is colourful and has a very friendly feel to it. One of my personal favorite features was the interactive tests and I was surprised to find this on a DVD!

Overall I would recommend this to others who feel they fit into the intended audience.

Don't waste your money1
I already speak quite a lot of French and thought this dvd would be good for extra practice. If you want to learn French from an English speaker that talks very unclear go ahead and buy this book.

Im sure that if you tried to speak bad French like the speaker on this dvd very few people in France would understand.

waste of money
