Ken Dodd: The Laughter Maker
Ken Dodd's nationwide tour in 1996 is finally released on DVD. The DVD itself is split into three sections - segments from two shows from the tour (about 30 mins each), both are hysterical, by the way, and the grand finalé of the tour: a special event at the reopening of a theatre in Liverpool, which amounts to around 40 mins.

Where this differs from the Audience With DVDs that were previously available is that in the final segment, Ken's fantastic voice gets a proper airing. Where he usually sings a song for laughs, he sings for enjoyment.

All in all, an excellent record of the great Ken Dodd, both as a comedian and a singer.

If you find Ken funny (who doesn't?) you should buy this. And if you don't find him funny, WHY NOT?!?

You havent seen Comedy until you see Ken Dodd great Family Entertainment not one swear word lots of naughty inuendos what a pleasure to watch the sheer genius at work he can make you laugh and cry his singing voice is just fantastic I am surprised he doesnt seem to still release records buy this sit back for a couple of hours and enjoy real entertainment.
