Very easy to use telescope
Very easy to use and set up. SOftware for night sky viewing was a bit complex to start with but once you play with it found it remarkable to use with telescope and to print off star maps for viewing that night. Very good product and incredibly good value for money.
Good - but bad design
It is a pretty decent telescope if all you want to do is look and aren't worried about what you see. You can star gaze though it, and you can see the moon in extremely good detail, and as for wild life and seeing long distances it is good for that too. However stars were very hard to see, and you couldn't see too much more than what you can with the naked eye. In addition to this, I found a steady hand was needed as the vertical pivot wasn't very good quality and let the telescope 'slip' a few cm when ever i let go of it, this was very fustrating when trying to look at long distance objects (like stars and the moon) as I could never keep it still and couldn't show others these objects very easily.
On the other hand, the magnification on the telescope was brilliant. But as a result of its faults, i bought a larger telescope instead which did more and could see far more. I bought a Skywater newtonian reflector, synscan. Not sure on the exact model number, though I am far more impressed with this newer telescope. If you want to see lots in the sky, i recomend you get the widest telescope you can afford. If you want to watch wildlife, this model is fine if you don't mind risking the potential wobble with the faulty design.

Celestron Astromaster 70AZ Telescope
Placed the order and recieved it the next day so really impressed with that. I am just getting into astronomy and really love it, you can stare at the moon for hours as its in great detail, also found saturn, that was amazing you could even see the rings. Also the spotter on the side is very helpful especially at night as its even got a mini light on there. Took it out in the day too and had no prblems viewing things mile and miles away.
The design of the scope is good its lightweight and even with the tripod its still lightweight, the scope is quite long though thats the only downfall on this product but in all honesty this is easily the best money i have spent this year!!!
