This is not just a workout but an entire lifestyle change. Hi I'm Rebecca Wheatley. You may not recognise me but I was Amy the receptionist in Casualty. That was 12 stone ago and back when I was a size 32! In just 27 months I've dropped half my body weight and become a size 12/14 by following Slimming World's eating plan and taking up exercise for the first time ever. Now that exercise is part of my life and I'm a new me, we've put together this workout DVD which will get you moving, burn fat and help you feel great. It's for real people like me of all shapes, sizes and ability. The great thing is you can do all of the workout or just choose one or two sections if you don't have as much time - it's designed for those of us with busy lives! But this isn't just a workout DVD - it also contains the Slimming World eating plan that I've so successfully followed with loads of ideas for meals and snacks that will help you get started. I also share my story of how I did it - it's all about eating sensibly, never going hungry, enjoying food and getting moving. Believe me it works! I have so much more energy, a brand new physical confidence, less stress and I even sleep better! I never thought that I'd say this but exercise is part of my life I really enjoy. And if I can do it you can too! GOOD LUCK!!

Not your typical work out DVD - THANK GOD!!
I too was inspired to get this DVD when I saw the great work that Rebecca has done. I'm starting this year with 7-8 stone to lose. I'm a size 22 and 19 stone. I've bought DVD's in the past - The Shape Challenge being the best one I've bought. Davina's was a real let down. Much as I adore her, her grinning mug put me off! This is completely different. For a start it looks like the work out is being done in someone's front room (not her own I don't think) so you feel on the same level as her. The warm up section does exactly what is says on the tin. There are three work out sections and as I was doing each of the sections, I remember thinking "Come on, when it is going to get going?" However at the end of the three work out sections I was dripping buckets and red faced and out of breath. Just because she doesn't bounce around the screen like a right loon, doesn't mean it's not working. The tone up section is really good and there's a stretch at the end of each bit. The cool down is when you notice just how much you've actually done. Do I think this is value for money? Yes! Do I think it will work? Yes! Don't just dismiss her just because she isn't in luminous lycra with a headband and leg warmers! Try it - it'll surprise you!
A good DVD for beginners...
I found this DVD a good starting board for people who have not exercised before or who have not exercised for a long time (me the latter) as stages 1 and 2 ease you into the exercise, and stage 3 is a higher tempo blast of exercise. I definately enjoyed stage 3 as the exercise was matched to the music and I built up a sweat and felt great for doing it afterwards. I dont however recommend this dvd for someone who is looking for a high impact aerobics dvd (i.e. if you are used to a hugely challenging work out) as I think you would probably be better off getting Nell McAndrews if you want something high impact. However, I cannot fault this dvd for the fact it eases you back into exercise, and I am sure doing this 4 times a week you would see great results, and then be able to step up a notch to another level of fitness, thank goodness there are dvds out there that allow for beginners and people who havent exercised in ages to get back on the fitness wagon. Also want to say well done to Rebecca, losing 12 stone takes a lot of dedication and sacrafice, people who have never suffered with weight problems do not understand how hard it is to lose it, so well done!
Really easy to follow
I decided to go for this dvd because it isn't your typical tiny girls jumping around to insanely fast music dressed head to toe in lycra. Instead, you have what almost seems like a pace so slow you can't be getting anywhere, but by the end of it I was exhausted, and feeling a real sense of achievement, as well as feeling like my muscles have had as good a workout as they would have at the gym. It can be broken down into sections for when you just don't have time, but doing the whole thing at once is great. Well done on producing an antidote to all the gimmicky celeb dvd's out at the minute, that are just full of people I'm sick of seeing all over the media anyway and actually producing a good workout!
