Customer Reviews
Gripping stuff!
An excellent documentary of a commercial climb run by Russell Brice on the mountain. Gripping stuff! The head mounted cameras really take you there and the panormas are stunning. The characters in the group can be frustrating but this only adds to the reality that this series captures. I sat down one rainy Sunday and watched them all back-to-back. Really very good and quite an honest overview of the commercial climb. I strongly recommend this series!
Best Documentary on Everest Climbs
I was really surprised how much I got into the series. I watched all the episodes over two days. All the different characters and how they deal with such a difficult enviornment is wonderful. These episodes show exactly how hard it is to climb Everest and gives excellent explainations as to what the climbers are doing every step of the way. The views are splendid. I highly recommend this to everyone! I can't wait to the next one comes out!
A great documentary
In fact, it's the best reality show of recent times and is quite gripping. After a chance introduction to Season One, and the controversies surrounding David Brice's team's reactions to the British climber, I decided to go for Season Two and it doesn't dissappoint. It's just as good and thrilling times, especially when the two Kazakh climbers go missing without oxygen or proper gear for many hours. One of the best shows produced for Discovery in the recent years!!! Highly recommended for all mountaineers and adventurers.
