KISS front man Paul Stanley embarked on a first ever solo tour in 2006 in support of his widely acclaimed solo album Live to Win. Rock's greatest frontman shows how it's done - !5
After reading a tediously predictable review in Kerrang last week ( they didn't like it - big surprise - ! ), i thought i'd better dig this out of my 'must watch' pile and see for myself. I needn't have worried. This is a great live DVD, and if you're a Kiss fan annoyed at their lack of new material, this is like a gift from the gods of rock.
The sound is big and punchy, the band tight as hell, and Paul rocks out like no-one else. The nice touch here is the inclusion of obscure Kiss tracks, and you realise just how stellar that band's back catalogue actually is, as well as the material from Paul's superb '78 solo LP. Songs like 'Magic Touch', 'Wouldn't You Like To Know Me', 'Move On', all get a new lease of life, coming across as urgent and vital.
Paul's voice, remarkably, is the best it's been for years, and it proves once and for all, that without Paul, there is no Kiss. Roll on the new LP this year..!

No Makeup, No Pyrotechnics, Just Great Rock Music!5
This is a great music DVD, Paul Stanley has one of the best rock voices there is out there and with this great selection of songs i was very please with this purchase, It's been a long time since i have sat down a watched a DVD from start to finish then sat back straight away and played it all over again.
If you like KISS then you may already have this if not then Buy it you will love it.
Rock Music at its Very Best!

The energy levels of the man are phenomenal. Paul is jumping about and performing like a man half his age. The dvd starts with a brief history of the making of the man and then the live performance. While his voice may not be able to hit the high notes of yesteryear, the personal choices he makes for his set list are very interesting and very impressive. This dvd should be part of the collection of every kiss fan
