Synopsis
Louise Evans (Jodie Whittaker, VENUS, ST. TRINIAN'S) is a young single mum earning a low salary in at ZBG Bank, so when she is given a high profile promotion she's understandably pleased. But little does Louise know of the trap that's being snared around her, as she's drawn into a dangerous plot to defraud the bank out of £250 million. Disgruntled ex-ZBG employee Phillip Manningham (Laurence Fox, LEWIS, BECOMING JANE) manipulates his unwitting girlfriend and Louise's best friend Anna (Charlie Brooks, EASTENDERS, BLEAK HOUSE) into spilling her personal secrets, using them to pull Louse deeper into the plot. With the stakes so high, other unscrupulous characters start to appear on the scene, just as other start to mysteriously disappear. WIRED is a fast paced, intelligent thriller that will keep you gripped until the very end.

Good Story Shame About The Script3
This is a fast paced thriller, starring Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre 2006)To be honest Toby Stephens,a fine actor of stage, screen, and Radio Drama is completely wasted in this. The script is lamentable and gives Mr Stephens, and the other members of the cast, which include Riz Ahmed,Charlie Brooks,Jodie Wittaker, and Lawrence Fox,very sparse material to sink their teeth into. It's such a shame,as the story itself is very good, the editing and music do much to rescue, what could have been a superb drama, but due to the script falls short of that .I've given it three stars, had there been a better script ,it would have got five.If you're a fan of Toby Stephens it's worth buying, because as usual, he looks *positively droolworthy* as Crawford Hill.I hope that in the future the script will measure up to the man.

Love the dvd4
I had written off Toby Stephens in Die another day as so, so actor and after JaneEyre I was hooked. First I love a classical trained British actor with a fantastic diction and voice to go. Secondly I like the actors cabable of using their facial muscles for expresion, seeing either botox filled or talentless hollywood leading men I was completely off Tv or films. I like the series because it require my live brain cells.I do want after Jane Eyre that Toby had a more central role but the story is about the female lead so it can not help, but it make me wonder that why a director waste a fantastic actor like him when any half decent actor can play that part.

Laurence Fox : bad boy5
I discover this serie with this DVD and have much appreciate this financial thriller. Characters are interesting and well plaid (with a special mention to the bad boy : Laurence Fox), the final solution unexpected. As i'm french, i hope i've not loose to much details in some dialogues.
