Average customer review:Product Description
Eleventh album and follow-up to 2005's 'Siberia' from the illustrious Liverpudlian post-punks. Despite frontman Ian McCulloch describing it in typically hyperbolic fashion as the band's best album since their defining 1984 classic 'Ocean Rain', it has received very mixed reviews, although some critics have praised its accessibility and anthemic qualities. Produced by legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra guitarist John McLaughlin, it features a guest appearance from Coldplay's Chris Martin on the title track.

Firing on most cylinders
Longtime Bunnyfans like me might prefer another dark and complex masterpiece like Heaven up Here, but if we compare this to mortal music, it's great stuff, full of hooks and feel with the usual distinctive combination of McCulloch's amazing voice and Sergeant's liquid guitar work. The pair craft music these days--don't expect groundbreaking art--but few are better at the craft. They deserve good things from this album.

They didn't split in '85 buddy. :)
Like all good things they improve with age, this record is a slow-burner. Just like Flowers & Siberia, you've got to absorb the tunes, simmering over a gentle heat for at least 10 years.
leave the bunny gods alone
I have had to post this in order to combat the negative reviews I'am a huge fan and obviously prefer their early releases from crocodiles to ocean rain. Just as they are releasing a guitar driven, upbeat, accessible album with alot of pop on it is that a bad thing? they still have Seargants signature guitar and the bunnymen sound. I have ordered this album and only heard the single which is very good there have been no leaks so how you can all knock a great band and say they have sold out and produced a poor album before the album is released, just from four short samples on their myspace site is very sort sighted.
