Fantastic pictures and diagrams, which are often used by my lecturers in their handouts. The integrated media isn't all that exciting. At the moment there is a discount if bought with no. 2.

I hate this book. It is confusing and poorly organised. I found myself having to look up words every sentence. The c.d rom would be fine if you were pre-GCSE. A far better embryology book is no. 4.

This book and no. 2 are very similar, so even though I prefer this book I would take advantage of the above deal.

This has everything that you would ever want to know about horse anatomy in it. However, its layout is not great. There is a labelled picture on the right page and the labels are explained on the left

My favourite out of all the vet books I own. This is great, but only if you like atlases. Takes you through layer by layer with pictures and corresponding, well drawn diagrams.

Good to get your basic horse anatomy and husbandry sorted. I have both this book and no. 10 but just one would be fine. This one is best if you know nothing about tack.

Basic and not really worth the money. This book has horses, cattle, sheep, chickens, goats and alpacas! Good diagrams, but they don't make up for the lack of photos. I still quite like it though.
