	The Battle of Los Angeles by Rage Against The Machine Buy new: £5.08 / Used from: £2.70 Everyones favourite politicaly subversive band! Tired of manufactured pop acts singing cheesy love songs? Listen to this and your musical outlook will change forever.
	Toxicity by System of a Down Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.90 CrAzY armenian-american death metal. Very good :)
	Pulp Fiction (2 Disc Collector's Edition) [DVD] [1994] Buy used from: £2.78 Classic film that twists, turns and intertwines while you are loving every minute of it.
	Goodfellas [1990] [DVD] Buy used from: £0.85 True life sort of mobster Henry Hill. Epic film lasting nearly 3 hours.
	The Usual Suspects (2 Disc Special Edition) [DVD] [1995] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £1.42 Excellent thriller that was made for the phrase: "You have to watch it twice"
	Fight Club - Two Disc Set (1999) [DVD] Buy used from: £1.16 Already have the book here but the film is worth a watch as well. Excellent performances from Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Story transposes to the big screen surprisingly well considering the ending.
	Captive State: The Corporate Takeover of Britain by George Monbiot Buy new: £6.47 / Used from: £1.11 Should be read by every british citizen. A shocking portrayal of British politics and its subservience to big business
	No Logo: No Space. No Choice. No Jobs by Naomi Klein Buy new: £5.18 / Used from: £0.03 Similar to Captive State, but more global. History of the logo section is a bit tedious, but stick with it.
	The Best Democracy Money Can Buy: An Investigative Reporter Exposes the Truth About Globalization, Corporate Cons and High Finance Fraudsters by Greg Palast Buy used from: £0.01 Investigative journalism at its finest. Palast exposes the truth about globalisation, politics and the IMF/world bank.
	The Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower by William Blum Buy new: £8.99 / Used from: £0.01 An encyclopedia of American foreign policy since world war II. Shocking.
	Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media by Edward S. Herman Buy new: £7.66 / Used from: £5.65 Chomsky and Herman expose how the american media REALLY works, and its pretty mind blowing stuff. Can also be applied to the British press.
	1984 Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell Buy used from: £1.95 Remains a classic to this day. Scarily prophetic...........
	Stupid White Men: ...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation by Michael Moore Buy used from: £0.01 All those nasty political books getting you down? Moore manages to take some serious issues and add some much needed homour to them.
	The Office - The Complete First Series [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £0.77 The best british comedy since Father Ted.
	The Sopranos: Complete Series 1 (Six Disc Set) [DVD] [1999] Buy used from: £20.13 The first and best series of what must surely be the best show on television. ( not that it has much competition )
	Memento [2000] [DVD] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £1.63 A truely original film and will f*** with your head, but will leave you coming back for more. I am still trying to figure it out months after watching it.
	White Pony by Deftones Buy new: £6.68 / Used from: £1.00 Such a quality band that gets overlooked a lot.
	Lateralus by Tool Buy used from: £4.49 Will change what you think a 'song' should be.
	Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips Buy new: £6.68 / Used from: £2.12 Makes me happy listening to it :)
	20 Years of Dischord by Various Artists Buy new: £17.09 / Used from: £14.45 An excellent retrospective of the finest record label ever. Fifty bands -73 songs and a cool book with information on all the bands.
	The Argument by Fugazi Buy used from: £5.37 Longest surving band on Dischord, and the home of its co-founder Ian Mackaye. Intelligent guitar music. ( which is hard to find ahemlimpbizkit)
	A New Morning, Changing Weather by The (International Noise) Conspiracy Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £1.98 The music can grate after a while, but some nic lyrics. they are commies and proud!
	Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.69 Last but not least. Intelligent guitar music once again. Highly experimental ( which is a good thing )
