I think this album shows more of what to expect after the beatles split, the songs are all unique and each of the beatles express themselves in differnt ways, but for some reason it works..very well.

This one is great all singles and other things not released on the albums, for example revolution, it also features some of the stranger (but still great songs) like the indian 'the inner light'.

This is a great album (better than the original) the songs sound great and full of energy, and for the completest the bonus disk is great too

Hey bulldog is one of the greatest songs ever, this album is worth the money for this song, the others are very good too, some strange often overlooked gems here

Great versions of a lot of the songs some better than the album versions, the best of the anthology cds but doesnt feature a 'new' beatles song like the others

early beatle version of early songs...good but not as good as the later anthology cd's contains the new beatles song 'free as a bird'

It seemed better before let it be...naked came out, the songs dont seem as energetic but its still a great album, nice alternative to naked for the completest

17th and still great but there arnt as many standout tracks as on others

For me the beatles tracks on here are not as important as the covers, rock n'roll music and honey dont are better than the brilliant originals
