Despite this being a Marvel UK Dr. Who comic, this is absolutely brilliant. Written by Steve Parkhouse (The Bojeffries Saga, Big Dave) with art by John Ridgeway in his first and possible best strip.

Probably one of the densest, saddest and most moving comic books I have ever read. Buy this immediately, or risk having a thirty-two stone man fall on you from a great hight.

Also originally published in Crisis, this first tale by Gart Ennis is still a great story for it's unbiased look at the troubles. Even if Ennis doesn't like it anymore.

This is what you get when wacky lunatics John Wagner and Alan Grant meet demented psychotic Simon Bisley. Sort of Horned God meets Ace Trucking. Sort of.
